Shipping policy
Shipping Policy (Kampura)
Effective Date: March 31, 2026
By placing an order on www.kampura.com, you confirm that you’ve read and agree to the shipping terms on this page.
Where we ship from
All Kampura orders ship directly from Guatemala.
Shipping days
We ship orders on Mondays and Tuesdays (Guatemala time), excluding holidays.
Once your package is handed to the carrier, you will receive a tracking number by email.
Estimated delivery times
Delivery times shown at checkout (if provided) are estimates only and are not guaranteed. International delivery can be affected by:
-
customs processing,
-
weather,
-
peak shipping periods,
-
local carrier performance.
Shipping insurance
At this time, we do not offer third-party shipping insurance at checkout.
Risk of loss / responsibility after shipment
Orders are shipped under a shipment contract, meaning ownership and risk of loss transfer to you once the package is delivered to the carrier. If a package is delayed, lost, or marked delivered but not received, please email nicholas.silverman@grupokampura.com and we will help by sharing documentation and assisting where possible (for example, supporting a carrier inquiry). However, Kampura is not able to guarantee refunds or replacements for issues outside our control once shipped.
Address accuracy & undeliverable shipments
It is your responsibility to provide a complete, accurate, deliverable physical address.
If a shipment is returned to us as undeliverable, email nicholas.silverman@kampura.com with your order number and corrected address. If re-shipment is possible, we’ll send you an invoice for the additional shipping cost before resending.
Warm Weather & Melted Cacao
Our cacao may soften or melt if exposed to heat during transit or after delivery (for example, in a hot mailbox or direct sun). Melted cacao is still safe and fully usable—it simply changes shape.
If your cacao arrives softened or melted:
-
Place it in a cool, shaded place or refrigerator to re-solidify.
-
Once firm, cut or chop into pieces as needed.
-
Prepare as usual—melt into hot water or milk and stir.
