A Living Transformation

Founded in 2011, Kampura began with a simple commitment: restore exhausted pasture into a living, productive forest. Patiently and persistently, we planted native canopy, rebuilt soils, and designed a regenerative agroforestry system where food and forest thrive together.

Today, on 2,000 acres in Izabal, Guatemala, we grow heirloom cacao and cardamom—both certified organic for the USA & EU—then we slow-roast and stone-grind cacao at origin. The result is forest-grown cacao you can drink with confidence: lab-tested for quality and heavy metals, crafted for steady, calm energy.

Rooted in Land. Guided by Love.

Kampura means “beautiful woman” in Miskito, a language spoken along Nicaragua’s Caribbean coast. We chose it to honor the quiet strength of nature—to heal, nourish, and give life.

We share this name with respect and gratitude to Miskito speakers who helped us understand its meaning.

How It All Grew

  • Regenerating the Land

What began as degraded cattle pasture is now a living, regenerative forest. Since 2011, we’ve planted 700,000+ trees across 2,000 acres—restoring soil health with rosewood, mahogany, natural rubber, and native species. Inspired by syntropic agriculture, our regenerative agroforestry system layers cacao beneath diverse canopy crops, building biodiversity, carbon capture, and long-term ecological resilience.

  • Crafted at Origin

Our ceremonial cacao is grown, fermented, dried, lightly roasted, and stone-ground at origin in Guatemala. We manage every step of post-harvest processing to preserve quality, flavor, and natural cocoa butter. Nothing added. Nothing taken away. Certified organic for the USA and EU, and lab-tested for safety (including heavy metals), our cacao is traceable from forest to finished block.

  • Sipped Around the World

From our tropical agroforest in Guatemala to kitchens, studios, and ceremonies worldwide. Melt, whisk, and sip for steady, jitter-free energy powered by naturally occurring theobromine. A daily ritual grounded in regenerative agriculture—crafted at origin, enjoyed anywhere.
